The Story
After working in stealth since May 2025 at Sister, Kino Cloud was launched at the Build Like A Pro hackathon. A hackathon designed around launching a business in 2 days.

Our founder moved to Sister in Manchester to build Kino Cloud.

6th Jan 2026
Finishing touches were put on the plugins for Maya, Nuke and Blender, industry standard tools. Using this as a launch day event, Ste (our founder) went straight into sales mode and got two signups from creative agencies to pay to use the platform straight away.

7th Jan 2026
Launched! We have a monetised website where people can sign in, input payment details via Stripe and can download the plugins and pay-per-render in the cloud.

Future
Building more plugins for industry-standard tools like DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
